I read an article in the newspaper yesterday written by a foreigner about our use of plastic bags from the supermarkets. How many of you are still carrying plastic bags from supermarkets? He basically said who are we kidding with all this go green crap because although it’s all very nice to use less or no plastic bags at all when transporting your groceries from supermarket to home, he NEEDS those plastic bags to chuck his daily rubbish into. He said that plastic bags were good for rubbish because it doesn’t leak and serves it’s purpose. And if anything, even if people didn’t use plastic bags for their daily rubbish, then what would they use when taking their do for a walk and picking up dog poop?!
Well, in Malaysia, many people just leave the poop right there! Nice…..
