I sure do! Especially since we’ve already spent our November budget in two weeks and then there are all those Christmas presents still to buy. Oh boy!
But I’ve just discovered where I can get a cheap loan to cover those Christmas surge expenses so I am certainly covered. I’ll just have to work dilligently over the next few months to pay it off. The interest rates are 7% plus minus which is less than our local banks currently and the best part is? I can pay it off at anytime earlier with no penalties whatsoever should I come into some extra spare cash. How cool is that, huh?
One more thing I discovered whilst looking to apply that loan was that I could even act as a lender if I wanted to earn an interest of 7% which is also better than any fixed deposit account in town. How it works is that my money would be lent to a community (whoever needs to borrow money) in small amounts and I make from the interest that they pay.
Once the Christmas season is over and I’ve paid off the loan and saved up a nice sum of money, being a lender will be my next project. After all they always say to diversify your investments!
