Unfortunately, there are many, many social climbers in KL. Our culture is such that many Malaysians kow-tow to people who are more wealthy, people who have more titles, people who know more people, blablablabla…..Seriously. Take a look around you and tell me you don’t know someone who is attracted to what they perceive as ‘the better’?
I detest social climbers. I find them shallow and unappealing. I don’t like people who get to know someone just because the person is in charge of a contract, or if she is a judge of a jury, or if she could be a potential client. If I were a social climber, I’d have made an effort to keep in touch with all the 10,000 contacts I’d had in the past. Surely, they’d get me somewhere upwards on that social ladder. Sad to say, I’ve not kept in touch with anyone, except for the handful of friends. Urgh! They really grit me, these social climbers!

Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
