Over the last school holidays, I took Tee to experience the above event at KLCC. The fee was RM6 for adults and free for kids below 5. It was no big deal for me as I was involved in the actual construction of Petrosains 10 years ago but to the kids, well, I suppose it was of some entertainment value, even if it did last for only an hour.
The entrance was a jumping on light box exercise where you had to jump on the correct answers whenever you heard the very muffled voice recording ask a General Knowledge question about dinosaurs. This should have been designed better. You can’t have a gadget targeted at a certain age group and then allow all age groups to experience it. It will not only not work, but it may screw up your computerisations!
The first electronical dinosaur which moved. Expensive machine!
Tee kept asking me if this was a real dinosaur when she saw this dinosaur moving and making noises. It was quite funny. Younger kids would find it scary……but as soon as I assured her that it wasn’t real, she was fine with it. See? So much trust she has in her mother 🙂
This was the sand pit where kids got to hunt for fossils. On the far left in grey, is Tee’s boyfriend. This sand pit was probably the highlight of the whole room.
Moving onto electronical games…..Tee was frustrated because she had to wait so long for her turn, and even more frustrated when the boy who was hogging the game didn’t know how to play it. She kept giving him instructions (which he probably didn’t even understand!) and telling him what to press etc. I just pretended I didn’t know her because she was being ever so bossy. What I really didn’t need was for a Mom to whack me over my head with a handbag.
Finally, she got to play with another game that got free and she was chuffed. Since she can read relatively fluently, she is independent when it comes to games and instructions without help. “So easy!!!”, she says.
Yes, everything to my little Tee is “SO EASY!!!” but when things are too difficult, then she’ll say, “I’m not interested to do that.” There’s definitely cockiness in the genes.

Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.
Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.
Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.
