Cooking at Chez Mama……

Having been on strike from the kitchen for a few months, I have now resigned to cooking proper meals again. Not that I haven’t been cooking proper meals in the past, only that I’ve been so busy that I’ve whipped up quick meals such as macaroni cheese with ham and broccoli or ABC soup type dishes over the past busy months. Finally, I’ve looked at my recipe books and reignited my passion for cooking. Many people have tasted my cooking in England, but not that many here in KL. Thus we shall begin…..

The only way I can do this is to pre-plan the week’s dishes and do the grocery shopping based on the menu or it would never work. Not with what little time I have. This week, we have claypot chicken rice, Hainanese chicken rice, chicken pie, beef stew and some chicken pasta dish or other. There. That’s five days of dinner. I know. We’ll be all clucking by the end of the week. What to do? I haven’t had time to go to the market for some good quality pork!

In need of inspiration, sometimes I think about checking out Guide to Online
Schools and taking
online cooking and culinary classes. But for now, real life knows I
just need quick and easy!

So what’s cooking at your end then???

Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.

Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.

She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.

A beautiful life without limits.

If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.

Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.

Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.
Show your support and spread the love!

  1. babe! I meal plan too! its the only way to go because 1. i hate grocery shopping so meal planning allows me to do a bulk one once a week only and 2. I can see and alternate my meats etc and make sure the fam gets a balanced all round diet. My kids will go ballistic if I cook rice everyday so I have to alternate that too..last week I had an off week..lots of one pot dishes (they’re awesome but!!!!nutritious and easy!)…i’m cooking a nyonya dish tonight – ayam pongteh (potato and chicken stew like dish)..served with rice. Kids can’t complain coz we had lasagne and salad last night and tomorrow, we’re doing a tuna/salmon bake with salad. (we love our salads) By Wednesday it will have to be something asian again with rice.We try to alternate our meats ie chicken/beef/pork/fish/or seafood..like that. Steamed minced pork and eggs is a nice dish if you’re looking for pork ideas. Or minced pork on Japanese tofu?…

  2. i m on the other hand, cooking like a mad woman before Kakak leaves this saturday. Once she goes away, I’ll prob cook one pot kinda rice or not cook at alL!

  3. I had to plan my meals too, now that helper is in and gotta cook for the little one. I buy A LOT and freeze them in containers. Marked containers for pork and separate containers for her porridge.. etc. I had to draw out a meal plan for Amber and after a week, she decides to dictate what she shall eat and not, so I told helper.. the plan is there.. but after a month, I expect her to know how to cook Amber’s lunch without a plan.
Was darn busy and fuzzy the last couple of weeks coz everything needed a plan and schedule and I’m a messy and disorganized person but I get the house in order BUT.. can’t expect the helper to follow my way of doing things.
Get proper containers to stock up your food.. makes cooking easier and you know where to get the best pork.. just call the twins mama 😉
