I have exactly 7 days more to do my Christmas shopping as we are off on a Christmas trip with the family next weekend. The problem is, I need to go alone. Without a whiny, irritating toddler in tow. Which means that tomorrow will spell my last weekend to go shopping. Thankfully, I’ve made my deadlines so I can actually negotiate a deal with the Hubs to babysit for half a day (don’t think he’ll survive a full day!) whilst I go shopping. *wink*
Tee will be plenty happy this Christmas because her Nana told me to buy her the roller skates she so wanted since forever. Shhhhh…….she has no clue. But I know, I know, I know…….she will be absolutely THRILLED!!! And then we’ll use those roller skates as threats! If you don’t brush your teeth, we are giving them away. Then see how fast she flies to the washroom.
As for me, I have no idea what to get her apart from books. The girl has everything. From Malaysia that is……if only I had more time. Then I’d order some of those bath gel pens from Amazon so she can draw in her bath and go squishy squish squish. Did you know they had those? They are so cool! Coloured liquid soap in pen tubes…….she’d love those! But Malaysia ain’t got them. *sigh*
I think her present this year is to learn that she has to give HER toys away. Yes. So I can have more space at home. I’ll make her a magic box that she can fill with star stickers and coins. And for each toy she is willing to part with, she’ll get a star and a coin. How about that???
