One fine day, I bravely brought the girls swimming on a week day (being such a hero, fuah!) and landed myself in a fix. T1 really wanted to swim and despite the sky being completely Harry Potter like, we soldiered on towards the pool and lo and behold, there was not a single soul at the pool side!

Bliss…………..

The lone ranger had the pool ALL to herself….

Whilst the wee one had her afternoon nap and Mama played her toys. Again, bliss!

What a wonderful swim that was, with the use T1’s vivid imagination…..

And then it started pouring *HORROR!!!*

We waited and waited and waited………..but the rain did. not. stop.

It was also far too heavy to run across in. We had no umbrella. T1 was wet but T2 and I were fully clothed. Even then, there was lightning and thunder and coldness and fear. What to do? What to do? What to do?

Blackberry came to the rescue…….what a frigging hero!!!

I called the guards and requested for some umbrellas to rescue us from the pool as we did not want to spend the night by the pool as much as we loved it. Within 5 minutes (it wasn’t difficult for the search team in finding us), a guard came with 2 umbrellas and we were huddled together out of the rain, giggling away like silly fools………..

The guards had a good laugh and so did we.

Simple pleasures – finding the joy in every moment.
