Posted on October 17, 2008October 17, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
Just look at my little monkey. Of all the dozens of dress up outfits there were, she always chose the tomboyish ones. She is just naturally not so into princesses, mermaids and fairies. She much prefers Power Rangers, Sponge Bob and Ben 10. Who???? I have no idea......she.......click to learn what next.

Posted on October 17, 2008 by Mamapumpkin

What to do on a lazy Friday….

Posted on October 17, 2008October 17, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
After an exhausting week, I was so looking forward to Friday, where we had nothing planned. No classes, no school, no play dates, no parties, nothing. We could sleep in, laze about and make sure the plumber knows what he's doing. You see, we've had many leaks around.......click to learn what next.

How to cut asparagus

Posted on October 16, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
Well, that depends if you're cooking a Western dish or a Chinese dish..... If it's a Western dish you're cooking, then really, you don't even need a knife for this. All you have to do is break the asparagus off at it's crunchiest point, throw the stem part.......click to learn what next.

Posted on October 14, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
I certainly don't. But Tee does! Tee and her new 8 year old Indonesian che-che friend in Orlando. Tee can go up to any stranger (usually children, she's not so interested in adults) and introduce herself. When we were in the States, she made at least 10 friends.......click to learn what next.

Why would you want an all rounded child?

Posted on October 14, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
People say, so what if my child is creative and is going to be an artist, the next Picasso of our generation; why should I need him to be able to be able to do high level maths or be able to think in a critical, logical manner?.......click to learn what next.

I don't want to blink ever. If only it was possible. This morning, Tee and I left the house at 930am to attend her Mandarin classes that lasted till noon. Then we went to a friend's place to play and before I knew it, we were home at.......click to learn what next.

Toddler yoga

Tee in Lotus Pose I sent Tee for baby yoga earlier but my little energizer bunny just wasn't calm and patient enough for yoga. She'd be up and about, moving this way and that, that I was almost embarrassed for her as the yoga teacher, a French lady,.......click to learn what next.

Posted on October 12, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
I got this idea from Lissete and thought it was a fun tag to do to see how food worldly I really am coming from Asia. So here goes: 1. Copy this list into your blog or journal, including these instructions. 2. Bold all the items you’ve eaten........click to learn what next.

Complete honesty between man and wife

Posted on October 2, 2008October 3, 2008 by Mamapumpkin

Coping with stress

Children discovering things for themselves

Posted on September 16, 2008September 16, 2008 by Mamapumpkin

CHANGING THE WORLD MOVEMENT

I love green

Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Now, she cleans poop and is student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others…..

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

I love green

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who works full time juggling several jobs – the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she gets very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intends to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women can bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

I love green

She writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others.

Her 2 girls drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7…..day after day…..and interestingly, her parents are Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she’s Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She’s thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Gotta love it.

She’d love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
