Baby Doll in a Bag

Posted on June 29, 2010June 24, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
My cheeky T1 recently conned her Nana into buying the above baby in a bag toy for her from ELC Mothercare. To be fair, T1 is actually very good about not buying stuff. It is her Nana who keeps spurring her on to buy something. And when she.......click to learn what next.

Letting a preschooler carry a baby

Posted on June 28, 2010June 24, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
Ever since T2 was born, T1 had a fetish for carrying her little baby sister. She absolutely adores her to the point of incestuousity, if there ever was such a word! As much as we don't want our precious baby anywhere near a clumsy preschooler, we pander to.......click to learn what next.

Reading from Birth

Posted on June 27, 2010June 24, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
Although I fail in most aspects in being a mother and more so am devoid of any maternal instinct whatsoever, (honestly, I never, never, NEVER, EVERRRRRRRR saw myself staying at home with kids. NEVER. You can ask ALL my ex-boyfriends. They'd tell you what my life plan was........click to learn what next.

So perhaps T2 may never forgive me that I am posting her naked bath pictures on the world wide web for the entire universe but hey! She may thank me for exposing her to miraculous fame! She could be as good as National Geographic's Afghan girl, who knows.......click to learn what next.

TTDI Park AGAIN!

Posted on June 14, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
One of T1's favourite places of all time is the TTDI Park and just last week before her accident, I took her alone WITHOUT T2, for a picnic. For some reason, every single time we go to TTDI Park, she associates it with Fairy Bread. It is the.......click to learn what next.

Teaching T1 to have pen pals abroad

Posted on June 4, 2010June 5, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
When I was a little girl, I had loads of pen pals I would write to, whether through friends of friends or from that famous Big Blue Marble show. Remember that? I used to love that show! I remember having this Italian pen pal from Melbourne who thought.......click to learn what next.

Losing a loved one

Posted on June 4, 2010June 5, 2010 by Mamapumpkin

Selling babies in Malaysia

Posted on May 25, 2010May 25, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
There are many people here who yearn for a baby yet cannot conceive hence babies for sale are a big business. You can purchase a newborn Indian baby for as cheap as RM5,000. That's cheaper than my hospital bill for delivering T2. Anyway, as my kids always stress.......click to learn what next.

Wanting versus needing

CHANGING THE WORLD MOVEMENT

I love green

Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Now, she cleans poop and is student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others…..

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

I love green

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who works full time juggling several jobs – the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she gets very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intends to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women can bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

I love green

She writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others.

Her 2 girls drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7…..day after day…..and interestingly, her parents are Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she’s Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She’s thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Gotta love it.

She’d love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
