Apart from working full time, this is my pet project and I need your support. I need you to help me share this!!!
We are organising a kid’s bazaar on Sunday 7th April 2013 – An Effort for Kids By Kids.
1. Book a Table for RM50 with Val (number on poster) and join the Project Myanmar event page.
2. Kids (5-15yrs) spend this month of March deciding what they would like to sell, services (singing, dancing, telling stories, etc) or products (hand-made cards, home-baked cookies, pre-loved toys, written stories, whatever!) – please be creative.
3. Attend a FREE workshop of how to be an entrepreneur on Friday, 29th March 2013 at the Money Tree at Sri Hartamas where you will learn how to count your money, design your stall signage, where to put your signage etc etc etc. – You do not have to attend this but it is there for you.
4. Sell! Sell! Sell! And Have TONS of fun on Business Day!!! Train your kids to introduce their business in case the emcee comes around to ask them about their products. The emcee will be there to promote the kids to the general public at Bangsar Village.
5. Close of Business. Count your sales. Hand in your books. AND MONEY. ALL money made go to the Children of Myanmar. This is a double lesson for kids. Learn how to be an entrepreneur and learn how to be philanthropic from young. The aim is for kids to experience first hand this process of working hard in improving the life of another kid.
6. Prizes and Trophies for the Most Creative Business, the Most Enterprising Business and the Most Profitable Business.
It will be fabulous. Please support a great day and a great life experience for the kids. By the kids. If your own kids do not participate, come anyway and make the kids’ day by buying the ‘stuff’ that they have worked so hard to produce.
