I took the day off from work today because I caught a runny nose from a certain someone and oh my God, I have never felt more relaxed for the longest time. I slept all day and T2 slept along with me. Of course, this meant that she only went to bed at 11.30pm tonight but I feel much better than this morning. I have not really rested since I started working and am now yearning for a holiday. A real one. Jeng-Jeng-Jeng…….

My next ‘holiday’ is in October SANS kids. YAY! Then, Christmas with family and friends at our usual annual haunt. Then Chinese New Year in Kota Bharu and possibly a few more trips home. Then March in snow, finally for T1 and T2 (they’ve promised to earn this trip by making their beds every day, cleaning up their own mess every time, saving every penny of their pocket money and working hard consistently at school. Of course, this does not mean no fun. Far from it. We might as well not live if we didn’t have oodles of fun. We breathe on fun! But NEVER they forget that Mama never got to see snow till she was 19 and most and many people don’t EVER get to see snow.). Then to the beach after all that cold. Then Eiffel Tower, here we come…….OoooLaLaaaaa………… Secretly, the Hubs and I plan to visit NYC SANS kids some day soon but we’re still trying to con someone into taking our kids for at least 10 days. Anyone? Don’t say my family because Tok-Tok, Nana, Uncle Ben and Uncle Justin have all said NO to T2. They’d gladly take T1 but nobody wants T2 unfortunately. Poor T2…..

I know that sounds like a lot of holidays but that’s the 3 year plan, maybe even the 10 year plan depending on how everyone behaves.
