I think that many tourists who are unfamiliar to New York are really unaware of the myriad of options available to them. I mean, in New York……..there is EVERYTHING. Take something simple like transportation from the airport to their corresponding hotel. If you’re part of a tour group, fine. Everything would have been taken care of by the tour guide. But if like us, you were individual tourists or visitors (since I hardly imagined ourselves as tourists!), then the immediate thing most people would do is to cab it; with the notion that after traveling on a long haul flight, the easiest, fastest way to bed is a cab.
Wrong.
Think the longest queue ever to get into a cab with your full trolley and you may reconsider. What more when cabs don’t want to take you for whatever reason. Baby? Sorry, M’am. I don’t have a car seat. You know? Stuff like that. And if you have a crying, starving child, airports in NY are not like Asian airports, so never assume. They are old airports. Very old.
So something like the Newark Airport Shuttle which is an airport shuttle service that will take you to the widest range of hotels, would save you far more time and get you to your destination in a far better mood. Besides, you get a better view of the city and have more opportunity to listen. No?
