Today, T1 wanted to eat THREE nectarines consecutively and I said NO. She is so lucky that she has a Nana who indulges her in such expensive fruit and this girl has damn expensive taste! She likes cherries, she likes nectarines and peaches, she likes Japanese Fuji Apples that cost RM6 each, her Nana has even bought her Rm20 apples!!! *FAINT*

Oh, I can write you a book on the expensive things she loves but that would be too boring.

So today, I cut her ONE nectarine for tea and she finished it in a jiffy and wanted another. So I cut her another but stopped at two when she wanted yet another. I grumbled to her about how expensive her taste was and that she’d better study hard if she wanted to keep up her expensive habits. I also grumbled about her liking cod fish, as recently, the nutritionist had instructed us to feed T1 a one by two inch block of cod fish every day and since we started doing that, T1 also says she wants to eat cod fish every day. *FAINT*

Amidst all this grumblings, T1 asks, “What about you, Mommy? You also like expensive things!!”

My mind was on speed roll as I knew what was coming and before I could say anything, she said, “I am your daughter, where do you think I got it from? I have your genes, right??” And I swear to God, she gave me this SARKY face and blinked her puppy dog eyes at me!!! Oh, she was totally smug.

I burst out laughing and told her that she’d better not let her Dad hear that!
