After a very exciting build up to my birthday dinner, we finally spent the next 3 hours relishing the flavours of the incredible 6 course fine dining menu of La Table de Tee. Except that I was ill and could not taste a single damn thing! Wahhhhh!!!!!! What a blinking waste of money!!!!
At least the company was good…….
I remember thinking, the food better be good after all that drama, but really, what was the point since I could not taste anything. Buggeroo major.
The restaurant was very intimate seating only about 20 people max and it is usually full house. The menu changes daily and there is only one 6 course menu and then from that menu, you can choose each course from two choices. The chef is of Thai nationality but he trained at the Michelin star restaurant Roussillon in London. Wow! I’ve never eaten food of Michelin calibre before! I am so kampung…..what to do?
The chef’s cooking philosophy is all about understanding ingredients, seasons and taste. Really? Well, PL did insist that the restaurant had never gotten a single bad review so he must be doing something right.
Because we were so hungry after our street adventure and since food was not served immediately, I lined my tummy with LOTS of bread. It was GORGEOUS bread. Mmmmm…………..
.
Prawn pancake blablablabla…….
.
Salmon blablablabla……..spinach mash?
.
Roast pork zucchini blablablabla…… (exactly at this point, most of us gave up eating from being too full already). Seriously now, 6 courses? What were they thinking? I suppose many men do eat more than us.
.
Duck with bacon wrapped asparagus blablablabla……
.
Flourless Chocolate Pudding blablablabla……
.
Macaroon and chocolate….something???
.
The Happy Birthday Girl……who ate SO much till she felt like throwing up yet didn’t taste a thing. Err….who has recommendations for a good neck cream?
So the next time I go back to Bangkok, I am frigging returning to that restaurant since I completely missed out. It better still be there!

Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.
Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.
