There are so many people around me that need education. And for the longest time, I have always been patient and felt that every person should be given a second or third fourth fifth chance even, given the benefit of doubt, and you know, we should just be understanding that they may have a story we do not know about.
Until I met this one person whom I prayed would change for the better in time, whom many people said all she needed was education but heck, education takes years and she was not learning! I decided to cut her out. I protected her for 3 years but she always managed to prove me wrong and do another dirty. It pained my heart because I would tell everyone else to give her a chance. But she was ruthless. Power and greed mattered more than anything else yet she could put on a beautiful front for self gain. I found it in low taste. When you have to bully a cancer patient into doing things for you, it seriously tells on you as a person.
I myself am sick and I cannot afford the energy anymore to help this person. I am not sure what her story is to make her the way she is today but it is of no consequence to me because I need to stay away from negative energy. The thing is, it is not just me who feels that way about her. It is a huge community that she has trampled on until her reputation precedes her, people shy away from her. Many a time I have wanted to be the one to tell her the reality and truth but a part of me always questioned if it was worth it because those who do not want to see, will just not see. I felt sorry for her and found ways to help her but enough is enough. I have my own problems now. I need to take care of myself.
I do wonder though if she could indeed change someday. It would take a great big fall perhaps to bring her to realisation just how much she is despised by the community at large regardless of how many put on a pretty face for her. Can a person change? It would take a drastic earth shattering shift to change I think. She is a smart girl so I do pray she will see the light and perhaps apologise to all she has wronged and maybe her sins could slowly bring her back to being the once nice girl she was once upon a time.
Oh, and I happen to know one of her husband’s long time ex-girlfriend. Hee.
How much effort and time would you put into making a change to someone’s life? I know so many cheap people. I’m not sure if it is worth my very precious time. Money is not an incentive at all. Yes, of course money is important but I seriously do not love it the way some people do. Like SERIOUSLY. I could walk away from my business today. The Hubs got counter offered three times since he resigned. We were very OK before I started business. We will be more than ok if I have no business and be the bored housewife instead LOL and now I don’t even have to drive myself. Life is good. But I need to care about my health. And to be honest, that is quite a pain. God, give me more strength to heal.
