What is the standard of a Year 3 International School essay of an almost 8 year old?

I have no idea.

But this is what T1 was producing at the start of the year this year. Her writing is atrocious and her work so messy that if I was her teacher, I would have penalised her for lackadaisical attitude visibly evident in her work. Actually, that is exactly the same word some teachers used on me when I was a kid – ho hum. But I still graduated, didn’t I? -__-

The essay isn’t even in paragraphs!!!

Don’t you get a headache trying to read it??? FAIL!

My immediate thoughts were, why the heck would she think of roasting a poor little piglet!!!??? Oh, my. What kind of kids am I raising here? One of no compassion obviously. And deer with a pink body??? This might have something to do with the pink cows in Australia…….

I will check the essay book again today to see if there are any developments over this lackadaisical attitude of work that my lazy bum does at school.

She currently has a French teacher and I’m not sure a French teacher is so suitable to teach English.
