Mommy: Tee, Mommy is very sad because I discovered today that Bumbo is ruined.

Tee: *blank look*

Mommy: Bumbo was very expensive and I am so sad that all that money spent on it is wasted.

Tee: *still confused* Nevermind, T2 can use it. It’s not a waste.

Mommy: Well, it is….because it was SO expensive that even if T2 used it, it’s still very expensive. I wanted to sell it after T2 used it, so I could make some money from it. But now I cannot sell it because it’s ruined.

Tee: *looking innocent* How come?

Mommy: Well, some people have been using it the wrong way and playing with it so there are now cracks and tears on it. I can’t sell it now. People who are too big for it shouldn’t sit in it and fiddly hands shouldn’t bend Bumbo where it shouldn’t be bent.

Tee: *sheepish look* It’s OK, Mommy. I’ll pay you back for it. When Daddy comes home today, I’ll ask him to go to my bank to take out some money for you, OK? Would that make you happy?

Mommy: Do you think you have a lot of money? *laughs*

Tee: Yeah! My Nana and Kong-Kong always gives me money. I’ll give it all to you, ok?

Mommy: But that’s not really your money because that was money given to you. It is easy money. I only want hard-earned money, not free money. If you want, you can work for me and I’ll pay you.

Tee: OK, then you know how you always ask me to go and bring you your phone? So now, every time I get you your phone, you pay me money, OK?

Mommy: NO!!! All the things you do in this house is so you can stay here! I’m not paying you for getting my phone!

Tee: OK, then what do you want me to do?

Mommy: If you keep quiet for 15 minutes every time I tell you to, I’ll pay you 50 cents.

Tee: *thinking* How about one hundred million dollars?

Mommy: WHAT!! You don’t even know what one hundred million dollars is!!

Tee: Mmm….I don’t think I like this job.

*T2 started crying so the discussion ended*
