Last week Tee attended a themed party and insisted on dressing up as a Dalmation. I told her that it was impossible to find a Dalmation costume in Malaysia but she insisted she went as a Dalmation! Her logic was that if the theme was 101 Dalmations, then she MUST go as a Dalmation!!!

After lengthy explanations why she couldn’t go as a Dalmation, she suggested we painted our own Dalmation costume. When asked how, she said we could get a white T-shirt and paint black spots on it. Err….I then wondered which T-shirt exactly I would allow her to paint on. Maybe the Free Kidsport T-shirt?

If only I’d thought about ordering online from this costume supplier!!! They have SOOOOO many Dalmation costumes to choose from and they even have a costume for the evil Cruella, which Mommy could have worn – Hahaha!!!

In the end, we managed to convince her that she could go as a very special Dalmation, a RED Dalmation………even MORE special than any black and white Dalmation. So this is what she wore to the party 🙂

Seriously, in future, I would consider purchasing a costume online and get it delivered because after all, they are only kids ONCE. This store would send Tee wild if she knew how to operate the internet! It has everything you could ever dream of in a toy, from pretend play toys to educational toys to transportation toys to outdoor toys……..actually, they have just about everything. And if you think they are pricey, they have toys categorised under different budgets too; as little as USD1.00 !!

I found a pick up sticks set and it brought back fond childhood memories. I always thought it was a Malaysian game. For some reason in my head, I thought it was a kampung game where kids played with Satay or Lidi sticks and then in modern days, they started manufacturing it in colourful plastic. But now they have it in America…..it’d be interesting to source the history of that game 🙂

There is a Sex in The City game and I bet you’re thinking……??? Well, that is strictly for the kids in us. It sounds like fun though because I can imagine playing it with a group of girlfriends and then we can laugh and share about our similar experiences with whatever the cards says! Like the time you were 18 and wondering, is it in yet?
