Pee on Hearts

Posted on May 11, 2007June 9, 2011 by Mamapumpkin
Whilst I was busy baking my mother's birthday cake today (yeah, the cost of medical bills this month threw all plans to buy a cake out of the window. It was that bad.), Tee ran up with some blue paper that she'd rummaged from our study asking me.......click to learn what next.

The LOVE of a car

Posted on September 21, 2006June 1, 2012 by Mamapumpkin
The LOVE of a car is very common in KL of the male species. Some men love their cars with a passion so great, it appears their cars come before their wives. Hell, their cars ARE the wives. They'd spend many a time polishing and waxing, cleaning every.......click to learn what next.

Tee surrendering herself to a foot massage at the infant age of 2 months. Tee enjoying another foot massage at age 2. This time she asked for it herself. If Tee already knows how to indulge in massages at 2, I'm concerned that we might have a little.......click to learn what next.

The train is losing steam…

Posted on August 3, 2006July 23, 2011 by Mamapumpkin
OK. Being a Stay-At-Home-Mom is the hardest job in the world. For the longest time, I've been losing steam chugging along bringing up this toddler of mine. There are days when I tell myself it's over. Can't do this anymore. Days like today.... With only 4 hours of.......click to learn what next.

The mind of a toddler

Posted on August 3, 2006June 7, 2009 by Mamapumpkin
Wearing Bras Tee wanted to wear my bra. When I told her it was way too big for her, she insisted she still wanted it. So I opened my bra drawer and picked out a very, very old pre-pregnancy bra; tightened the straps and put it on my.......click to learn what next.

Toddlers and salmonella poisoning

Posted on August 3, 2006August 23, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
I didn’t sleep much last night. Tee had a high fever – AGAIN. This is how I spent my birthday. My mom had a fever for 4 days. She saw a Doctor who said she had a virus and gave her some antibiotics. Many Doctors do that here.......click to learn what next.

Toddler poop milestones

Posted on August 3, 2006May 25, 2009 by Mamapumpkin
The day before yesterday, Tee (my almost two year old) told me for the 1st time in her life that she wanted to go poop. "Poo-poo", she whimpered. And lo and behold, she pooped into her diaper. The same happened yesterday and today! I can officially announce that.......click to learn what next.

CHANGING THE WORLD MOVEMENT

I love green

Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Now, she cleans poop and is student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others…..

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who works full time juggling several jobs – the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she gets very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intends to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women can bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

I love green

She writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others.

Her 2 girls drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7…..day after day…..and interestingly, her parents are Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she’s Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She’s thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Gotta love it.

She’d love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
