My former boss who was the Managing Director of Asia Pacific based in Sydney used to travel around the region once or twice a year to check on us Country Managers. Yeah, we were THAT trusted. Shhh…..Okay, okay……he had how many?…….one, two, three, four, five………..in total thirty cities to visit of which he would stay several days per city as there were several offices to visit too within each city. That’s a whole two to three months spent on travelling alone! Poor guy.
He was a young bald guy, Scottish, with an Italian name. Go figure. And I loved him to bits because you see, he loved me too *smile*. Great minds think alike. *wink*
This very successful MD was also a fussy, non-nonsense man who expected nothing less than the best. He used to tell me, “Madam, there is absolutely NO margin for error.” And I would nod once and offer him my sheepish look. When booking his international flights, he expected his secretary to be on the ball and she was. If ever she screwed up, he never knew about it because she had made all stops to cover her tracks. He also liked flying Qantas or Singapore Airlines. First class, of course. Even if he did have short legs.
Five years on, the both of us are now proud parents. He wrote me a glowing reference when I left to become a mother but he is still very much a corporate man making more money than I could ever imagine. Bugger! I could’ve taken his spot!

Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
