Adventures in Jalan Alor

On that very same night I brought my cousin to Jalan Alor, we also had 5 more meals. Yeah, we were only there for a couple of hours…….enjoying food whilst the Hubs saw to the 2 girls after midnight. Heh.

Wong Ah Wah chicken wings…..

.

Ramli Burger where we met this drunk Eurasian bloke who kept talking rubbish and my cousin was so kind to entertain him. But the burger man was really irritated and annoyed because the drunk guy was a regular apparently at his stall, always drinking and always talking rubbish.

.

We chanced upon an interesting hotel……

.

I never knew such a quaint little boutique ‘hotel’ resided in Jalan Alor?

.

Outside the hotel within its grounds.

It was an interesting night. With all the lovely food that we’d consumed, we were also entertained by the happenings of Jalan Alor. Opposite the Wong Ah Wah restaurant, was a hotel. Outside the hotel, was a man with a mobile phone who’d been standing there ALL NIGHT. We watched him, observed him and timed him. He literally was stood there for 4-5 hours!!! And off and on, he’d be on his handphone. And then, cars would drop by or girls would walk past him and then walk BEHIND the hotel. Why weren’t they going in through the front entrance, I asked my cousin?

I then asked him to follow them but the bugger didn’t want to for fear of that guy with the mobile phone standing guard outside on the pavement. The girls were also dressed to the nines. I was so curious what was BEHIND the hotel……secret entrance? Anyway, the next time you go to Wong Ah Wah at night, look out for the happenings of opposite Wong Ah Wah!

And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.

She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
