September 2001 – we literally flew out to Charles de Gaulle international airport three days after our splendid wedding, even before our overseas guests had left sunny Malaysia. My family had the wonderful task of entertaining them. They thoroughly enjoyed it. Really.
And we thoroughly enjoyed Paris! The weather was awesome, cool yet sunny, so the Hubs and I pranced about in T-shirts all over Paris. Not very chic, I know, but we were on holiday and wanted to be comfortable. Our honeymoon was planned by me as the Hubs was too busy working to pay for it. And since I’d been to Paris before (he hadn’t), it only made sense. As two architects, Paris took our breathes away. We checked in with our heavy luggage to a hotel recommended by our neighbour and had our first taste of Parisian greetings in French accented English,
“I’m soRREEE, Monsieur. You can onLEE jcheckin at 3pm.”
It was then 8am in the morning. I’m glad to say the rest of our 8 day trip went much smoother.
We went up the Eiffel Tower to view the most amazing radial city planning and I would have put my personal pictures here but we didn’t have a digital camera then! It was so romantic and I still remember the Hubs wearing a Michigan jumper and a group of American women coming up to hit on him, because he had been identified by that jumper. Him hugging me from behind at the top of the Eiffel Tower, was the ultimate for me, on our honeymoon.
After descending the Eiffel Tower by sunset, we took a river cruise up and down the River Seine to be mesmerised by the very many pretty lights and sights. The facades of Parisian buildings are very different day and night so we had to do this. It was free for us as the Hubs’ parents still had river cruise tickets from their last trip and those tickets were still valid!
We visited the Louvre but couldn’t manage all the museums in Paris because Paris is museum city and we only had 8 days before visiting friends in London. The Louvre was designed by IM Pei so it was pride for us that an old Chinese man had made his mark in Paris. A big mark at that!
We got to see many, many more sights in Paris, met some friends, explored French cuisine and were out everyday from 8am to midnight. It was SO fun. Just me and the Hubs.
It’s a pity we didn’t make it to Rhone Alps as Paris alone would have taken a month. At least. But I heard the views of the mountains are beautiful…….and very cold. We didn’t make it to the wineries either because on the day that we had wanted to go, the trains were having a day out. We ended up in Versailles instead. The countryside of France is magnificent. And Nice by the sea, is lovely too. I’ve always wanted to live in France…….
But for now, I will just have to depend on France Hotels with rooms costing less than 40 Euros for my regular visits to the land I was born to live in. C’est la vie!!!

She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.

Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
