And vice versa. Since I’m bored of posting about Chiang Mai now, I shall bring my Chiang Mai series to an end and dig out the archives of my Perth trip. Ahahaha….that now seems like eons ago.
If you’re interested in going to Chiang Mai, the best way to get there would be to fly Air Asia because they fly direct to Chiang Mai and it takes 3 hours. If you took a MAS plane, you’d have to transit in Bangkok and in total, it becomes an all day journey. We used to do this before AA came along so thank you AA!! Of course, this was before we had kids!
You can fly to Chiang Mai return for as little as under RM440 (all inclusive), depending on when you’re traveling and when you’re booking and what combinations of bookings you make. We got it for about RM300 (per pax all in) but I think AA have increased their prices now for next year as demand is HIGH.
There is only one flight there and back daily and not so fun as the flight there is at 7am. This means you need to be at the LCCT by 5am, leave your home by 4am (depending on where you live) and be out of bed by 3am. Not fun when you have kids. If you didn’t have kids, then just don’t sleep and sleep on the plane.
Air Asia also does a lot of budget hotels if you don’t like my Yantarasri Resort – you can find hotels from Air Asia at www.airasiago.com
My little monster, she insisted on having a seat all to herself and insisted on wearing the seat belt all by herself. This is all good when you’re on a plane but she does the same thing when we’re in a KL taxi van without safety belts and that’s when we REALLY freak out. She wriggles and protests and screams until she gets her way to sit on her OWN chair and pushes our hands away when we try to protect her because should the taxi van stop, there’d be a flying baby into the sky. You know how fast they drive???
So yeah, going to Chiang Mai always brings us lots of exhilaration. In every form.
**************************************************************************Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.
Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.
Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.
