Transferring PayPal money out in Malaysia

Soon, I will have to withdraw my Malaysian PayPal money to help the Hubs pay for our credit cards, not like there is a lot of money in there but every little helps.

Thank you again to those of you who have supported my little home business by coming to this blog every other day and actually purchasing stuff from me! I am getting lazy already and it is only my second week. Why? Because selling stuff involves waiting for good sun light. I am so anal that I cannot take pictures in bad lighting. I have to take at least some decent photos of my products. You know, make sure that I don’t mislead buyers into thinking that a bottle was a dildo or vice versa. OMG, did I just say that? I do NOT own a dildo. No, I do not. No, no, no, no, no. I much prefer the real thing(s).

Uploading photos take forever and you know me, my hands are so itchy (like everything else about me – mouth, bum, armpits) that I have to edit the photos with some background stars and what not. I’m probably just BORED uploading stuff so that allows me some fun. It’s like I really should be writing out my resume so I can perhaps look for a job but playing around with Photoshop is so much more fun! Procrastinator, go dump your head into the procrastinate bucket!

Then I have to write the post for the items. Then I have to respond to all queries about the products. Ding-dong-ding-dong. Sometimes, people request for more pictures so I have to go hunt for the product all over again, take it out of the box and take more photos. More queries. Some emails back and forth about delivery options and payment options and finally, when a buyer says she will buy, I cart the products to the post office to get them weighed and spend the next few hours refreshing my online bank account page so I can zoom the product to the buyer in record time. Like I’m in the amazing race, just because the quicker the better. Oh, and before that, I have to package the products – bubble wrap, brown paper, duct tape (lots!), filling in postal order forms…….only to discover that a buyer has changed her mind.

Shit.

But even if a sale is made, it is still a laborious process. I have to do research and price my products competitively, arrange secret meet ups with the CIA to deliver drugs, and then hope the law enforcers don’t come after me! How does Shireen do it???

The Hubs asked if this is worth doing because he thinks I’m running a losing business. He says that my products are too cheap (some are, but some are not!). Then he says that as soon as I collect my money, I spend it. Oh, he exaggerates so! He says that by the time I travel back and forth to the post office, pay for parking, pay for duct tape and bubble wrap, pay for petrol to do cash deliveries, he really wonders if I make any money at all. He is such a cynic, he is. I’m sure he just misses me at home because it’s much easier taking care of a baby with another adult around, is it not???

But I shall persevere because I need to. Slow and steady.

Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.

Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.

She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.

A beautiful life without limits.

If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.

Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.

Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.
Show your support and spread the love!

  1. yea..selling stuff requires alot of detail and work….

hope it’ll be even more successful in the coming weeks!!!!!

  2. hi, I found your blog when i was sourcing Christmas-related links. hope your bizness has picked up!

just my 2 sen (nice surprise to discover you’re malaysian!), wouldn’t it be easier to get a scale for weighing? tho i don’t know the distance covered or your sales volume, the price of one digital luggage scale would probably offset the cost of petrol/stress/parking to get to the post office.

also (again, just 2 sen), perhaps it’d be better to confirm payment before lugging everything out of the house. they buyer already knows it’s there, right?

wishing you all the best and a very merry Christmas!
