In my case, I’d have to be a crook. Because within the next year, I don’t see the money coming our way in order to afford the mortgage for our dream home. I see so many wealthy people in Kuala Lumpur and I suspect many of them are crooks. If they aren’t, perhaps their grandparents or great grandparents were. The money must come from somewhere! Out of 10 multi-millionaires, I’d say half of them made their riches through real toiled hard work and sweat. The rest had an opportunity and grabbed it. I personally know some millionaires or children whose dads are millionaires or grandparents are millionaires and guess what? They were all crooks. I suppose now you’re probably asking what I define as being a crook.
As an example, one man saw an opportunity with his company. There was a loophole in the company’s books so he cooked it and made a million. From there, he went on to supply French arms to the Malaysian Government. Big money. Big, big money. Another man found out that a company was sourcing for fine bone China in the early seventies before they were available here. He quickly travelled to the Philipines and cut a deal with the supplier there and put them together. He was an instant millionaire. I need to learn how to be a crook.
If only they had the type of Mortgages for five million dollars that we could afford *smile* I so want that house………..
