A gracious one! Certainly easier said than done……..

I’d like to be a Mom who is always supportive of my daughters, one who will never say I told you so, why didn’t you listen to me, who’s fault is that? Yeah, I’m not going to be a Mom who dwells on the negativities in life and will only have my daughters’ most sincere best at heart. I want to be the Mom whom my daughters’ feel they can always come to with any problem, ANY problem and that I am their best friend.

I will also be the mom who teaches them the harsh reality that it isn’t good enough to be good but that they’d have to be fucking amazing if they wanted to stand out and win. And that there is no such thing as a stupid or naughty person. Everything and anything is possible, everything is within reach. It is only their desire of how much they want something and the accompanying hard work that will bring things to them.

I am the Mom who would work extra hard to find a way to make my girls learn whatever it is that needs learning and not take the easy way out. Nobody said parenting was easy! But with God’s help (and certainly because they are His children), I will strive to be the best mother that I could ever be. Ok, T1….you just remind Mommy about this post whenever Mommy’s blood starts bubbling, ok?

I want to be the Mom that my daughters’ will feel at home with. Nothing to hide, and if they’re ever down in the dumps, I’d be the first they’d call. I’d soothe their wounds, be their pillar of support till they get back onto their feet again. I want them to love my company, absolutely love it……so they’d take me on all their holidays and always come home lots.

I would never put them down even with the mistakes they make and surely they’ll be making lots on their way in this journey of life. And I’d always be there to pick them up. I won’t interfere with their choices, only telling them how I feel and the pros and cons of each decision. Ultimately, the choice is theirs as it is their life. Yet, whilst they may make their own bed, if they screw up, they’re always welcome into our bed.

I love my girls to eternity. I really, really do.

I am so blessed to be given this opportunity to bring them up.

This will be my daily mantra.

Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.

She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
