The Hubs is a real New Yorker and although he has been back in town for 10 years, he has still not made any friends because not only has he not met anyone whom he clicks with, he is also too lazy to go out looking for new friends. Thus Uncle Dave is still by far his bestest buddy on this planet. So much so that he wants to make New York a regular trip ‘home’ every few years to visit all his friends.

He said that since he and Uncle Dave were big sports fans, he wanted to surprise Uncle Dave one day by visiting New York with some basketball tickets with the best seats as we can get cheap basketball tickets online. He also wants his girls to experience the energy at a real American sports event. Sounds good, I say. When? When? When? I’m just interested in the shopping!!!

The last time when Uncle Dave came down for T1’s birthday, those guys were so serious in watching the superbowl on TV that they had planned the booze, snacks, pizzas and even 2 hours of entertainment for T1 so that she wouldn’t disturb them at any expense. I was just too sick to get involved as I was pregnant with T2. I’m telling you, I can’t tell the difference between the superbowl from baseball to basketball to ice hockey; all these great all American games!! I only football soccer as it is WORLD CUP SEASON right now!!!

Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
