T1 came home today to tell me that most of her friends don’t have fresh names like her and T2. Fresh names? What is that?

“Fresh names are like T*ss@ and Ti@. Who do we know that have the same names as us? Nobody, right? That means our names are FRESH!!”

I thought hard. Nobody, I guess. Then she started naming all her friends with common names like Mark, Victoria, James, Caitlyn, Ben……etc

Interesting how she chose to categorise names in terms of freshness. I corrected her and instructed that those names were not unfresh names but rather common names. And her and her sister’s names are uncommon. Lots of people still have them but even more people share the same names as the more common names.

She thought for a minute and recited to herself, “Uncommon, common, uncommon, common……NAH!! I prefer FRESH!! My name is FRESH!!”

Ok, whatever…….

And if you ever meet her, just ask her what her full name is and she is sure to tell you an extended version of her name (that SHE made up and is so proud of) namely T*ss@ Maria Lee Tessia Asset the Basset the Cassette the Castanet!! AND….she also knows the meaning of each word, which coincidentally kind of exemplifies her personality and character. I don’t think it will be so easy for T2 to come up with such a rhyming name though, and can imagine it sounding rather dreadful.

But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.

She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
