By this morning, the Hubs still hadn’t responded to my text message asking him if I should risk going to the airport alone with Tee. My dearest brother, with all good intentions, was only able to get off work at 8pm which I thought would be too late for Tee. In my mind, I was already prepared to go it alone with Tee should I not hear from the Hubs.

I am quite fearful of going to unfamiliar places alone with Tee as Mothers are easy targets these days, what with us carrying our heavy toddlers, the bags and then our attention focused on our whiny toddlers and especially now with the gory news in the newspapers.

Alas, the trip to KLIA was not meant to be as my little rascal absolutely refused to lay down for her afternoon nap today. We were at Nana’s house and surprise, surprise……Mommy had a nap instead. Come 6pm, she was already cranky. So when my MIL called from the airport, I told her that it wasn’t possible for us to come as I expected Tee to pass out within the next hour.

And she did.
