TAG: The face behind the blog

I have more than 15 tags in queue so I better start this year as it’s comin to an end. Apologies to all for the seeming lack of interest. I have no maid. Where do you guys without a maid find the time to blog!

This lady below is the person who tagged me. Do you know who she is? She is one half of a twin, who is separated by the Great Singapore Causeway and Secondlink. And that is her son she is carrying, Baby Shern. Isn’t he a cutie?

This is Bigpumpkin in her old office at the Petronas Twin Towers. She sat on Vitra Meda chairs costing USD1,000 per pop, wrote on Steelcase desks and used Ericsson phones (does anyone know how expensive they are? Not your usual Telekom or Panasonic phones) PLUS she had a 1 Megabyte DEDICATED broadband connection (this means when she clicked on a website, she’d get results in less than a second). The perks were high.

People used to say, a desk is a desk is a desk. But man, you don’t know what a desk is until you’ve touched a real desk. Once you have, it’s almost impossible to step back down. Do-able but tough. Very tough. Especially when you have the love of luxury gene.

She was even lucky enough to skip every single fire-drill that the towers had. She had a friend who had just arrived at work one morning when she had to climb down 72 floors of people packed staircases, lugging her handbag, briefcase with laptop AND high heels as she didn’t have a chance to place her belongings into her office yet. Now if that isn’t luck, I don’t know what is.

The view of the park was magnificent at that level and the magnetic calling of KLCC below made her wish it would just suck her up so she could shop instead of deal with pervy matsalleh clients and matsalleh bosses. She had the most glamorous job ever and did not know what a blog was. But even if she did, she wouldn’t have had the time to indulge as her job didn’t allow her time to even open the text messages transmitted by friends and family. Alas, she threw in the towel one fine day when the Doctor said that she would have to give up her stressful job if she wanted to have Tee.

Any regrets?

None whatsoever.

Below is Bigpumpkin now. 20 kilos heavier. 20 luffameters happier.

And her messy black hair that the hairstylist said she should colour and cut.

So now you know the face behind the blog πŸ™‚

**************************************************************************
Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.

Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.

She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.

A beautiful life without limits.

If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.

Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.

Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.
Show your support and spread the love!
