Origins Complimentary Facial
Customer Service – 5/10
I was 10 minutes early and was told to go for a walk first. If my staff ever did that to a customer, I’d blacklist them. It was the perfect opportunity for the sales girls to show me their products in garnering some dollars out of me but instead, they preferred to chit chat amongst themselves. So I hopped over to Clarins whilst waiting for the facial room to be ready. At Clarins, I learnt that I should never apply my moisturiser near my eye area as this would cause oil seeds to form in the eye area. I must use an eye gel/cream for the eye area. No wonder I have all these white spots under my eyes!
After the facial, the sales girls at Origins weren’t particularly friendly. They must make it a prerequisite for potential employees to have their periods fall at a particular date, meaning around this time. The sour-faced girls made me fill in my contact details and that was it. I felt as though I was the one who wanted to stay a little longer, drawn by the products, but wasn’t welcomed.
Facial Technique – 7/10
Apart from the extraction bit which felt like someone throwing darts on my face, and then pressing them deeper, it was a good facial. But Ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Facial Therapist – 6/10
Bubbly girl who pattered her fingers about like a pro and explained the products every step of the way. I liked that. The only problem was she didn’t stop talking…….about her trip to Australia, her daughter, her colleagues, her habits, her past, etc. All in Cantonese, which made it worst, because I could barely understand her. You call this Relaxation?
Bless her, she was really sweet.
Products – 9/10
They smelled all natural and heavenly. They felt just as good. Peppermint, lavender, white tea, ginger, mushrooms and everything floral…….mmmm………
.
Saw Hair Salon
Customer Service – 9/10
The girl who greeted me was friendly, smiling, looked ever so stylish and had a sense of humour. She was also prompt and got me settled in no time. The blue and white floral shirt (forgot to ask where he got his shirt from, it was supercool) hair stylist was cute. But gay. Aren’t they all? He not only trimmed my hair good but formed a relationship with me at my first visit. I’m definitely going back. Just because he was so nice. On top of the fact that he’s good, of course.
Hair cut – 9/10
Good. Good. Good. He did recommend that I put some highlights onto my hair to complement my pretty face. *Blush*…..It takes so little to swell my head. So we discussed hair colouring and maybe even a major hair cut where I chop ALL my hair off. I’m getting a little tired of long hair and what’s the point really, since I keep it up all the time. So it’s either I get a chin length bob or a more stylish bob (like Katie Holmes) or get a conservative Jennifer Aniston cut. What do you think?
Hair Wash – 8/10
As always, it could have been longer……………since it was so good. Shucks, why do good things never last?!
Overall 9.5/10
I had a reflexology session throughout my whole hair wash and cut by another gay man. It was SOOOO fucking good. Then I was asked if I wanted a manicure and pedicure, and if I had had the time, I would have said YES!!!
But Tee was sick and I had to rush home to pack.

Thank you, Mayumi, for making this day possible. If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t have had this whole 3 hours to myself. Thank you SO much. *hug*

When I got home, I relayed the story to the Hubs that someone mentioned I had a pretty face and would look better with some highlights on my hair.
I knew I wasn’t going to get a complimentary response but gave him the benefit of the doubt. OK, I betted on that glimmer of hope that he would agree and say something romantic. Can somebody pay me some attention, PLEASE???
Guess what his response was?
“I see they’re training them good in cross-selling these days” and looked right back at his dinner.
He did that on purpose. I’ll get him back.
I love that man.

Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.

Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.
