The Hubs has been very stressed at work lately because he has one particular staff that has been on 13 MCs this year and the year is not even over. The limit for MCs in a year is 14 days and coincidentally, this staff always takes his MCs just before or just after a weekend. He also just ‘disappears’ during office hours for a couple of hours as and when he likes, either by going out for a smoke or a tea break.

This particular staff has a family with 4 kids and they suspect he has a second wife or a second job as he always comes to work extremely sleepy.

Last week, a warning letter was issued and a pre-employment screening company was hired in order to minimise such business liabilities in future.
