Tee has been having this lovely habit for the last month. She has been having an off and on cold which she picks up from school and since then, her finger is almost always up her nostrils. It is a beautifully graceful sight, really. I couldn’t have asked for a better habit for her to embellish. She does it with deep concetration and total silence. Working steadfastly on her serious project.
We have nagged her incessantly to remove her little fingers from her nose and suggested poking other more interesting orifices instead, but somehow the nostril hole has an added magnetic attraction. It must be the diamonds. We even threatened to throw toys away but to no avail. She forgets and the nose booger bugs her enough to reach back into baby diamond cave.
At school, she is the only girl who has her little finger up her porcelain nose – definitely making her stand out from the rest. What a star! If there is anything I should be proud of, it is surely that my daughter is unique.
Tonight, whilst I was nagging her again to remove her pointer from her nose, she irritatingly blurted out,
“Mummy! Don’t WORRY about me! You go concentrate and put my pampers on!!!”
Half of me wanted to slap her for being so rude and the other half burst out laughing.
**************************************************************************Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.
Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.
Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.

Hi,
found you tag surfing on wordpress.
Let her dig for all the gold and diamonds she wants to find. They say that kids build up their immune systems better by indulging themselves in this. Not joking.
cheers,
ian in hamburg
Hahaha!!! Hello Ian, are you for real??? You got me cracking! Hahaha…..I’m going to research this.
ove what she said, hahaha *rolling on floor*
at least you still have your humour with you *wink* cant be all that bad :p
every kid must go through that phase, eh? cairo does it just to bug me… when i say “cairo, don’t do that”, she’ll take it as a que to repeat like 3 dozen times more (each time flashing me a cheeky grin), just to see me get more annoyed.
These monkeys. Sometimes, Tee would purposely wipe her new found diamond on me to piss me off further, then run away. It is GROSS! You know where she picked up “Don’t worry about me!”? You know how it is….she is always so KEPOH number One….so whenever she asks a question that has NOTHING to do with her, we tell her “just concentrate on eating your food or whatever, don’t worry about that!!!.” HAHAHA!!!
Hhaha, thanks for sharing this! What a laugh! My daughter, for a period, has been doing the same – “there’s something in my nose” and when she goes all quiet or hide her face away, she’s up to it again. The alternative dad often assures me that it is a phase she goes through. I am definitely not sure about that but I sure do like what Ian (above) says! Buuhauhauhauha … I would love to read your research if you find any on this! =)
OK. I searched a little and could go no further after reading that you actually do stay healthy if you EAT your own booger. Like drinking your own piss. EWWWWEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HAHAHAHA!! How come her sunflower pic still on her hands & izzit the same one as the last u posted?
Didn’t you know? This girl is headed down the road of biker chicks and leather jackets. And bandanas and tattoos….*praying hard for a turnabout*
