What’s your family food plan?

I’m nosey. I can’t help it. Born like that. Just like how I’m impatient, lazy and boring…..and err….so many other things.

Today, I read this, so I thought I’d share what we had on our carefully planned out menu this week. Considering I am on a low-carb ‘so called diet’, we’ve been avoiding the good Chinese staple (which I absolutely love, especially with burn your ass curries!) and tried to stick to baking like the Cuddlyfamily’s Mama. This is the second week I am actually planning our meals and I find it so much easier when I am organised. Previously, I’d just look into the freezer, then decide we’ll take out.

Last Sunday, I stuck our menu on the fridge for the Hubs reference, seeing that it was HIS duty to prepare Tee’s breakfast. She had Oatmeal on Monday, Farley’s Rusk with Milk on Tuesday, Honey Banana Toast on Wednesday; Pear and Banana for Thursday and French Toast for Friday.

Lunch for the week for Tee included Broccoli Carrot Fish Porridge, Rice with Chicken ABC soup, Cheese Pasta, Spinach Quiche and Tomato Pasta.

Our dinners were Roast Chicken with Olive Mozzarella Sliced Potato, Boiled Carrots and Grilled Mushrooms; Baked Fish with Spinach, Boiled Carrots and Salsa Dip, Spaghetti Bolognese and Salad, Chicken Pie and for Fridays, we eat at my Mother’s (which could be anything from durians for dinner to Japanese Sashimi at some Jap Hideout).

Weekends, we usually cook the more difficult stuff like curries, paellas or a full Chinese meal.

For snacks, Tee has fruit and cheese. I have chocolate.

In Malaysia (where we rear halal cows), I like Cadbury and Leonidas. If you ever want to get me a present, I’m that easy to please. 🙂

I read before that as long as a toddler eats one proper meal a day or 7 good meals in a week, you’re doing good. I can’t for the life of me remember where I read that now but it was a reputable site. It said that toddlers snack a lot, play a lot and are really more interested in playing than eating. So as long as your toddler gets a healthy dose of fibre, carbs, protein, fat and vitamins every week, you have nothing to worry about. Just use some common sense.

This is my community service for the day.

She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.

She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.

A beautiful life without limits.

If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.

Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.

Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.
