A friend asked me today what I would do if I was one of the police officers charged for the murder of the Mongolian lady, Altantuya. The families of the police officer are possibly in grave danger. The police officer would have been threatened. Warned. That if he told the truth….
It got me thinking that maybe I should have a back-up plan should anything of this sort ever happens to me and my family. YOU NEVER KNOW.
If I was in prison charged for a high profile murder, I’d have no contact with the outside world. I’d have nobody to trust. I would pray. And I would expect my family to take off. Flee without a trace. So they would be safe elsewhere. And I would tell the truth.
Unfortunately, the police officer who is charged? That man who never shows his face? His family may not be able to afford a quick escape. The guys up there are powerful.
