Do you know how sometimes kids skip a generation and all the traits you, as parents didn’t inherit, your child does? This is exactly what has happened with Tee. She is best buddies with my Mother, which makes up for my lack of relationship with my own Mom I guess. Her Nana is her most favourite pal in the whole wide world. She is also her piggy bank – maybe that’s why. Actually, her Nana gives in to her all the time. Anything she wants. The moon? Sure…..
Tee has my Mother’s extreme patience with jigsaw puzzles. I am not a jigsaw puzzle person. But Tee can sit quietly and do her 100 piece jigsaw albeit between 1 to 3 sittings. She has two 100 piece jigsaw puzzles right now that she is happy to do over and over again. Such patience is beyond me.
A friend of mine has a kid who converses at the same level as Tee. Very intelligent kid. But when she heard that Tee did 100 piece jigsaws, she was flabbergasted. Her kid was only exposed to 4 piece jigsaws. I told her it wasn’t a big deal. If she placed a 100 piece jigsaw in front of her kid, he may be overwhelmed at first but sit and encourage him and after a few times, he will be a whiz.
I also think it is temperament. Whether the kid has an interest in jigsaws to start of with. For example, he was very good at opening bottles at the age of 20 months when Tee was nowhere near spinning the caps although she kept trying and trying. Kids develop at different paces. The most important thing to focus on is that your kid is happy. Expose them to everything but never, ever push. If your kid can’t do the stuff other kids can, SO WHAT? At the age of 6, 7 or 8…..they would have caught up. And just so you know, those who develop faster before the age of 6 are not necesarrily the winners in life. This is proven.
**************************************************************************Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.
Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.
Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.

Is Tee with her Nana, your mom here? My Alycia LOVES zigsaws too & can complete a 24-piece puzzle in under 5 mins. I havent tried her on a 100-piece puzzle yet. Maybe I should get her one. Wow, at her age, Im surprised & impressed Tee that has the patience to sit and complete a 100-piece zigsaw puzzle.
Tee is not the only one this age that can do a 100 piece jigsaw. I think the picture also makes a difference. If you got one with all trees, they’d probably lose interest pretty quick but we have Thomas the Tank and Winnie the Pooh 🙂
