For the longest time, Tee had several favourite books but suddenly (in the last month), she has consistently asked for Monkey Puzzle by Julia Donaldson. I have to read it to her sometimes up to ten times a day. I swear we both know the book inside out. She has also learnt phrases from it and goes around saying, “Without a doubt!”
I first came to know of Julia Donaldson when I was researching children’s books for the weekly story-telling sessions at my old work place. I contacted the publishers and had permission from Axel Scheffler (the illustrator) himself, to reproduce his work for the marketing of my story-telling events. Because her books are so good, we used them a lot and needless to say, Tee has almost all of them. Just as she has every Sandra Boynton book (for her younger days) and every Dr Seuss book. And then more.
Julia Donaldson is an award winning British author who puts good English into Rhyme and makes stories really enjoyable. Tee’s favourites are The Gruffalo, The Gruffalo’s Child, Room on The Broom, The Snail and The Whale and Monkey Puzzle. I think her particular attraction to Monkey Puzzle is because she relates it to her relationship with me, her Mummy. The Monkey has lost his Mummy and then a big adventure ensues, followed by the warm, cuddly sense of relief when Monkey finally gets reunited with Mom again. I guess it is how Tee feels when she hasn’t seen me for awhile and then I come home. Or mabe it’s just the great way I tell the story! *joke*

She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
