Earlier this month, Tee’s grandmother from Kota Bharu came down to bring us some ‘bachang’ and to see how big Mommy’s tummy was. She said it looked like a boy from the way my tummy showed. Why does EVERYONE apart from the Doctors say I am going to get a boy when Ultrasound scans clearly show a hamburger?!!!!

Anyway, since it was also Ama’s birthday, we bought her a surprise Haagen Daaz ice cream cake which was super delicious. We also asked Ama what she wanted for her birthday but she said she only wanted a big kiss from Tee.

When Ama finally left, Tee cried all day and wanted to dig out her gold chain that was presented to her from her Kong-Kong. She really liked having Ama around because there was someone whom she could always talk to or play with. Poor thing…..Mommy must be so boring to her. Ama also taught her how to write her name in Mandarin plus a few other Mandarin words. She now keeps asking to go to Kota Bharu. She misses those old foggies……but unfortunately, I can no longer travel or we’d just fly her there for the weekend.
