Once again, Tee triumphs in conning someone into buying loads of STUFF for her. This time it’s in the form of clothes. This girl really needs to study very hard to sustain her very expensive lifestyle or she’ll have to hook herself a rich husband who adores her to no end. The Hubs and I certainly cannot afford to maintain her lifestyle and if she continues being her primadonna self, she’s just going to have to learn the hard way.
These are some shopping Tee did – most of all the clothes are her choice. We paraded them all in a line and told her she could only pick 5 out of 10 skirts etc and she more often than not, went for the comfy clothes. I’m telling you, this girl sure knows what she wants. She chose all T-shirt material clothes and all green unless there were no other options left from green.

Above clockwise from top left – ‘Boys are Better than Girls‘ white T-shirt, pink spaghetti strap top, blue and white striped spaghetti strap top, pink swimmies with floral border (Of all the gorgeous bikinis and swimsuits we’ve bought for her from Australia, Tee refuses to wear them and says she wants to be totally covered up because it keeps her warmer. Now all those bikinis are still sitting in the closet brand new as we bought larger sizes as well. Who knew that Little Miss Tee would prefer looking like a professional swimmer than a beach babe?), white cotton shorts with lace trim and pink cotton shorts with lace trim.

A dress my Mom insisted that Tee should have. Tee wasn’t hot on it and neither was I but ALL Tee’s dresses are bought by my Mom. She just wants Tee to be that pretty demure princess which she is so NOT! Hahaha….

Above clockwise from top left – white lacey top, pink and white floral top, white polka dotted pink skirt, green and white striped skirt with pink waistband, green cotton shorts with pink ribbon, pink and white striped cotton shorts, plain pink skirt with green waistband.

Left to right – brown track pants with purple waistband, grey cotton skirt, green and white striped leggings, purple track pants.
Oh, I forgot to take a pic of her new Little Miss Sunshine pyjamas. If you knew Tee, you’d know how an expert she is in conning someone into getting something new for her. Do you remember her Angelina Ballerina pyjamas that cost a bomb? She did it again this time and honestly, she is not lacking in pyjamas at all……but she plays out her dramatic theatrics and some just go putty. (oh, just realised that I hadn’t yet told you the Angelina Ballerina story….nevermind, next post)
Guess how much those 18 items cost? More than a thousand. *faint* I’d much rather buy her clothes from FOS as they grow so fast but what to do?
So we came home and tried them on and discovered that her track pants are too tight for her big belly. I then called Mothercare KLCC at 8pm (09/06/09) to ask if we could get them changed for a bigger size the next day. However, I informed them that we’d already chucked out the labels and price tags but still had the receipts. The woman on the line started scolding me! She said we can only return stuff if the labels were intact! I insisted that we’d done it before WITHOUT the labels and sure, ideally we’d have the labels but we really didn’t expect Tee not to fit into them this time. She said that normally customers are informed that if you want to do an exchange, you should keep the labels in tact. I informed her that nobody told us about that yesterday. I was getting irritated as there we were having spent more than a thousand Ringgit at their store and they were being so rude and unaccommodating. How many times in a day do they get someone who pays them more than a thousand Ringgit at one go?!
I was so fed up and then I realised my mistake. I should have told them that I was Puan Sri Rosmah (no, I don’t mean our Prime Minister’s wife) when I first called them. I’ll bet THAT would have changed the whole tone of the conversation.
So today, I am booking a Puan Sri to go deal with them. If I went myself, being pregnant and all, I would probably punch a few people.
**************************************************************************Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.
Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.
Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.

wow..she really knows how to shop at a very young age..can’t imagine when she has grown up..rich husband get ready..
Kid’s clothes are really expensive. And mothercare is really overpriced although i admit I still like to buy their clothes =) I had a bad experience with them too. Silly me bought a RM70+ nighlight from them…..(yeah i know i can get a nightlight for RM5 from any hardware shop)….and it konked out within 4 months. I brought it back, they said it’s supposed to last longer than 4 months. I told them I changed the bulb but it still did not work. They rudely told me that if it was <3 months, they would give me a new one but since it’s 4 months, there’s nothing they can do. A big applause for their service!!!! -note my sarcasm-
o.Oh. thats really a lot a lot of clothes!!! She is really a girl who knows her shopping! =) Guess you better have a line of potential rich husbands ready for her to choose…
