On the way to Tee’s school on the road just behind her school (the main road), there is a little Malay stall which serves the yummiest Malay food that makes the baby in my tummy completely ecstatic. If I can help it, I’ll try not to eat there but honestly, to skip a lunch cooking session for myself and then get fantastic Malay food for such a CHEAP price, is hard tempting.

Today, I had rice with Ayam masak merah (drumstick) and tons of vegetables (like triple portions to counteract my diabetes) and that cost me RM3.50. Usually my bill is less than RM5.00 and I get a lot of food. But the best part is, the food is super duper yummy. I have almost made friends with them as a regular. And what’s even better? They live just behind their stall in a link house in Damansara Heights. So the food is cooked fresh and they bring it out through their house back door into the stall. I love their cooking and WISH I could cook like that.

Other dishes they do include mee hoon goreng, nasi lemak, kari ayam, kangkong belacan, sambal ikan, chicken kurma……oh, you name it. For me right now, it is bliss!
