Last night, Tee just did not want to go to bed. She was busy watching Playhouse Disney and after about a hundred times of telling her that it was bedtime, she made a deal with us. She said she really, really, really neeeeeeeeee…………ded to watch the end of the Mickey Mouse show and the Hubs and I were thinking that enough was enough. We had to do something about this TV addiction.

So the Hubs suggested that if she watched it till the end, she would then have no TV for a week. She immediately nodded but I reminded her not to make promises she could’t keep. She has a knack of promising and then getting out of her promises. We asked her about fifty times if she was really sure and she kept saying yes.

So the Hubs made her write out a contract:

It says, “I, Tee, will not watch TV from today onwards.” (she spelt everything by herself, by the way)

Then she wrote her name and had some alphabets that didn’t make sense underneath. When asked what they meant, she said, “It’s my signature!!!”

Today, was the 1st day of no TV. She didn’t ask for it at all. Good girl.
