Although it isn’t the school holidays, Tee was invited to a playgroup today together with her boyfriend to an old friend’s house, which has a basement parking lot and land enough to fill two football fields, and this isn’t including the existing mansion already on the land!
The kids had English fish and chips using beer batter. It was SO good that I couldn’t stop eating it despite the fact that there was a separate menu for the adults. I must, must, must try out this fish and chips recipe!!!
Apparently, all it is is half a cup of flour, half a cup of beer, 1 cup of ice and that’s it. Use lemon sole or dory or whatever white fish you want really, debone the fish, pat dry it with a paper towel, dip the fish in plain flour first, then dip it into the beer batter before tossing it into a big pot of oil. Voila!
You can google more beer batters for fish and chips. I have!
The kids started off with playing with some lego before lunch. It was an interesting playgroup because in previous playgroups we have attended, kids are thrown into a room full of toys and they just play whatever takes their fancy. In this playgroup however, only one toy was brought out at a time.
After lunch, they played Monopoly. It was Tee’s first time playing but she caught on fast enough.
An interesting observation I made was that Tee kept all her money in neat stacks whereas the boys just threw them all into one big pile. Isn’t that interesting???
What was also interesting was the fact that the boys couldn’t hold their attention and after half an hour started running about like noisy crazy monkeys whilst tee still sat at the desk waiting for her turn. It was hilarious but poor thing, she couldn’t finish the game which I know she so wanted to WIN. The boys just couldn’t care less. At this point, I was quite thankful that I didn’t have any boys. If I did, I think I would have a constant migraine.
Then the Mommy brought out a Marks and Spencer jigsaw puzzle to calm the boys down. Again, the boys worked on one section of the puzzle together whilst Tee did hers alone. Last but not least, Wii was brought out and Tee played it for the second time ever. Her first time was in Australia where she played tennis with her cousins a whole year ago. This new game called Wario, she had to learn and she was SOOOOO determined to play it right. She just wanted to practise and practise and practise until she got more and more points.
Tee and her boyfriend playing Wii. Aren’t they cute from the back?
We finally got home at 5pm, just in time for a shower and for Mommy to put dinner in the oven. What a fun day Tee had……lucky bum.
Oh, and did I add that she now wants her own Wii??? She’s already thought out in her head what all the good reasons are for her Daddy to buy her a Wii.

She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
