If you haven’t yet heard, we finally gave in to the girls’ biggest desires to own a puppy earlier this year and got a little cutie when he was just a few weeks old. It was a month of sleepless nights (EXACTLY like having a newborn) and cleaning a little puppy rolling in his own poop (NOT KIDDING!) and quite literally, a freaking nightmare!

The hubs was completely against getting a puppy but my own personal wish of getting a landed house was exactly to get a pet for the girls even if I wasn’t a pet fan at all myself so did you think he was going to get away with not getting a puppy? We worked on him for months and he finally relented with the warning that he was to have absolutely NOTHING to do with this new pet. EVER.

After we got the little Bub, the hubs melted day by day because how adorable is Trevor…..

Me myself not being a dog lover did a 180 and now I am completely IN LOVE with this little dog! What the hell!!! It is exactly the same dejavu that I experienced not wanting kids previously until I met Tessa as a newborn and now, the entire family fights over Trevor. If our lives were already perfect, he just brought it to the next level.

Having a puppy, I call him puppy because he will always be our little puppy although he is well on his way to being a teenager at 6 months, has been an exhilarating journey of unlimited joy, incredible laughter and never ending loyalty.

Today, I got out of bed at noon when everyone else was already at zoom calls and the family office was buzzing with serious work conversations so of course, my first thing was to look for Trevor. He wasn’t in the family room. I asked them where he was? They shrugged. I opened the CCTV cameras on my computer to check (too lazy to walk a 3 storey house to search for a dog!) but I could not find him so he was probably at a hidden corner somewhere. But just as I was about to get off my chair to go look for him (JUST IN CASE!) because you know when there is toddler silence, it could usually mean TROUBLE, when I heard little pattering paws hopping up the stairs and Trevor ran straight to ME!!!

Guys. I swear that was intuition and energy at work.

Dogs are naturally more sensitive to energy and I believe that Trevor heard me silently searching even though nobody audibly called out to him. How amazing is that?
