Dangerous Daisy Head Mayzie

For those of you who don’t know Daisy Head Mayzie, she is a character in Tee’s Dr Seuss book who literally grows a flower on the top of her head. Although Tee loves this book as she loves many others, I’ll warn you as a parent in sharing what happened to us.

After buying some flowers from the market on Sunday (shit! flowers are getting expensive! I bought 2 stalks of Chrysanthemums, 2 stalks of Daisies, 2 stalks of Jasmine and a stalk of Rose for RM19), Tee wanted to pluck the Daisy just before bed to check if we really loved her. Or not.

I told her no, because it was time for bed. No, because the flowers were pretty in the vase and shouldn’t be plucked. No, because the other flowers would be sad if they lost their Daisy friend. No, because she would only make a mess with the petals flying all over the place. And No, because SECRETLY, I didn’t want her to be crushed should the result be a negative. Can you imagine what that would do to a child? These children are so insecure that it could drive them to suicide!

But being the strong-willed puppy that she is, she had an excuse for every no. She brought out her dustbin, switched off the fan and told me it was very safe. The petals would go directly into the bin. She said the flowers had to accept that their friend was gone because it was for a good reason. So before I could protest further, she went about doing her own thing whilst I finished off the dishes thinking of what my answer would be when and if she comes back crying about me not loving her and loving the new baby more etc etc etc.

Trust me when I say she can be a real drama queen.

Just as I washed and wiped my hands dry, Tee sheepishly walked towards me with that shy, timid look in her eyes and hugged my tree trunk thighs. She then looked up at me and whispered a smile, “Thank you sooooooo much for loving me, Mommy……”

I felt a horrendous weight lift off my shoulders and reassured her, “Of course, Mommy loves you. Mommy will always love you. No matter what. That’s what Mothers do.”

And she planted a long kiss on my big fat belly.

Was that close or what?!

Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.

She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.

A beautiful life without limits.

If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.

Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.

Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.
Show your support and spread the love!

  1. Aww… that’s so sweet. Yeah, we get a free flower weekly from the Farmer’s Market and I keep telling myself not to teach her about plucking the petals to “predict” something.
