Why is it that not everyone can see that A may not mean B and C may not mean D?
I listen to the whispering of women and some are so dead set in their thought processes that it makes me auto cringe. We can put new ideas forth but if they are stubborn to see, then it is their path. They just have to have that slower journey, I guess.
I’m reaching the milenium mark soon but was mature since I was a teenager and continued to learn and grow as the years passed. Being at The Bartlett certainly challenged me from the core. Suddenly, one thing, one idea, one object, one word, one person, one event, one song; could manifest into so many versions of other things. Fascinating.
When I first graduated to come back to work, BAT at the time were giving aptitude tests to prospective employees by asking them to name as many different uses as possible for a paper clip. I loved it and did so well. Thereafter when I became the Country Manager at Regus, I used back this same test because it identified the standard of creativity one had.
Creativity does not only mean having ideas to design something. It shows the power of the brain.
A woman who has her husband never call her ever may think that he does not love nor value her nor does he have the time nor passion to even think of her during the day. That could be entirely bollocks. There could be a hundred real reasons why he does not call her. Ever. Can you think of some?
As I listen to my best pals rant about stupid moms, stupid colleagues and stupid family members, and then listen to another set of friends rant about bad schools, bad clients and bad service; I am grateful that as assorted women, we still click with respect and tolerance. I don’t have anything to rant about in my life currently but am quite happy to listen and support my best friends because I do know how stupid a lot of people are. It’s just lack of experience and exposure and is what it is.
One day, the world will be better and till then, we continue to do our part in making it better.

She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
