She was merely 14 but her friend said, “Do you want to learn?”
Which adventurous 14 year old wouldn’t have said YES!!
John was a regular in the family and ever since her stepbrother flew in from Berkeley, he was tasked with Grandma’s little plum coloured Daihatsu Charade to drive them around. John had a license. His father was a Minister so who knows if his license was valid but he was definitely a seasoned driver and her mother trusted him.
They would have their driving lessons, the three of them ‘kids’ at the local golf club as car traffic was minimal yet sufficient roads to play around with a real car. Wheeeeeee!!!
Those days, automatic cars did not exist. As she gained confidence in handling the car, John took her out onto the big road. Within weeks, she was a pro!
The downfall came when she decided to drive herself to the nightclubs instead of taking a taxi which cost money and as a student, money is always a challenge. All her friends were going to nightclubs. All wanting to grow into adults before their time came. Make up, high heels, dressing up, it was all exciting to attract attention from others. What her parents didn’t know was that she was rolling out the cars past midnight without their engines on, then rolling them downhill only to start it after the car was a good distance away from home.
A night stint driving out to party with friends lasted several hours and she would responsibly drive back uphill and stop the car, walk down to open the gate, then silently roll the car back into the garage. Smooth.
If only she knew the potential dangers of an underaged teenager driving around the city past midnight then. She could have been stopped by the cops for illegal driving, followed by thugs and robbed, or worse, mugged and taken away! Her very own friend from the same local Club drove to his death at the mere age of 10. So you can imagine……
An angel would have been following her for months and years because she did this for exactly 3 years regularly before getting a real driving license to her name.
She passed her driving test and studied for it and now was free to drive her Dad’s Volvo with full permission.
**************************************************************************Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.
Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.
Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.
