This morning, a Mom was telling me how she was still in a court case because her ex-business partner owed her 300,000 dollars due to unscrupulous business dealings!!!Then I spoke to another Mom who also runs a business and she said that more than a dozen clients owe her money.

This reminded me of my old businesses where strict collection measures were enforced. If payments were not met on time, services were cut. Clients need to realise upfront and sellers need to really make themselves known that should a default happen, there will be no compromise. People need to understand that bills have to be paid and staff need to feed their families. Why are they continuing to use services and not want to pay for it? Furthermore, some people just buy something and pay never. You’re supposed to pay later, that’s the favour of seller to you!!!

Only in the rarest of circumstances should sellers allow slight delays in payment and even then, it is at the discretion of the sellers. Because most of the time, people just take advantage of the situation. It’s disgusting!

The reality of it though is that sometimes, people owe money for so long down the line that businesses have to resort to hiring a Collection Agency to help them collect the owings. Actually, I really should find some collection agencies for these Moms to consider!!! Because it isn’t fair on them and they are suffering because of unscrupulous people! It makes me so mad!
