I should be excited. I will be on a plane off to my holiday in just over a week but instead I’m freaking stressed out!!! Why? Because I still have orders coming in and I still have to organise deliveries and collections and my house is a mess and I don’t feel in control of anything!

I’ve been negotiating with a helper to work with me daily and I’m wondering if it is worth getting a driver and oh, just so many things running through my mind right now before the year closes and many people are pissing me off, or maybe it’s just me PMS-ing or pre-menopause get big time. I’ve noticed this last week, I’ve been a complete bitch. No longer are the days where I take any more shit from people and I am no longer my patient self. What the heck is going on?!?

This week alone, I’ve screamed at:-

1. My kids – well, duh!?

2. The school security guards because they were not directing traffic accordingly and made me stuck and boxed in just so big fancy cars could take their own sweet time parked illegally to go get their own kids. How inconsiderate is that!?

3. My own condo guards because they didn’t allow my movers to park at our usual loading bay nearest to my lobby entrance but instead made them park ridiculously far and for them to move 250 Izumio boxes at such a distance was just ridiculous. I was livid!!!!

4. Bloody Renaissance Hotel guards for making me pay my parking at the parking office only to have a card not work and then when it didn’t work asked me for a receipt, but the guy at the parking office had not given me a receipt and I was in a hurry to get my kids home to sleep. I was shouting so loud at them and was so close to just crashing past the boom gate.

5. The delivery guy who didn’t show up. Why? I was planning his future for him! This only means it is not meant to be. So, so silly of him. Now instead, a taxi driver will gain and his life will be changed because I will see to it.

I am stressed!!!!!

The good news is that we are almost done with our winter shopping. Boots? Check. Jackets for minus ten weather? Check. Waterproof gloves? Check. Thick woolen socks? Check. Thermals? Check. Waterproof pants? Check. Ski hats and scarves? Check. You’d think we were pros…..and I happened to be the most fashion conscious of all although T1 got the most expensive North Face jacket.

The good news is that love is being transferred from children to children, children to adults, healthy to sick, time and love, and that gives me real comfort that there are still a lot of good people in the world.

Some people are too afraid to be associated with me for they worry for their own reputation, and rather than get hurt, I forgive them for their weakness. Not many people dare stand up for what is right and most just follow the herd. But the ones who do, they are the ones who gain the rewards at the end of the day because it is the right thing to do and you know how God always rewards the good….

I was blessed to be able to feel the longest hug from a little boy this week. It truly was the highlight of my week.
