On Day 4 of the girls school holiday, I could stand it no longer. I have had 3 whole days of School Holiday Activities and I needed to get back to my work. I told them that I wanted to visit the Cancer Aunty and they willingly obliged, bless those two monkeys. I’m not sure why they would valiantly protest with certain suggestions I have yet be OK with some. I wanted in fact to visit 2 Cancer Aunties just to buy them some flowers and to sit and chat with them. I know what my own Mom went through. I know how lonely a journey it can be. And so that it what I really wanted to do. Because if anything, I wanted to get to know them. Cancer links me to my Mom.
It turned out that we only had time for one Cancer Aunty and since I had an emergency delivery that very afternoon, off we set off to visit the Aunty but first, we went round and round the residential shoplots looking for some snacks. The girls were hungry and for some reason were craving “Tai Kow Meen“, and in Malay, “Apong“??? Different style from the Malay and Chinese but essentially spongy pancakes sandwiched with peanuts and sugar. The Malays add corn.
Now the strangest things happen when we are in a rush. I wanted to get there and back before peak hour traffic. I had a delivery to do, snacks to hunt for, flowers to get, and dash back before the jam. It was approaching 5pm when we got there and as soon as we found the Apong guy, I wound down my window to order 8 pieces.
EIGHT???
Yes, Boss! Lapan Keping!
Tak boleh makan you semua ni! Satu ni besar tahu?, he said as he held up a semi-circle Apong to show me just how large one piece was.
Oh. OK Tiga keping, Boss.
I left him with extra change out of habit and a genuine desire, and then took the chance to ask him if he knew a florist nearby. And whaddya know, he gave me exact directions where there was a florist. After driving there, I got a parking spot right in front of the florist. Alhamdulillah! Unbuckled the girls and crossed the road to realise I only had RM35 in my wallet. Crapppppp!!!! What am I going to get for RM35!!! I quickly looked around but there was no bank teller in sight so decided to just ask the florist what I could get for RM35. What the hell.
We ended up not doing too badly perhaps because it was the end of the day and she was getting read to close shop? We got ourselves a lily with buds, some baby’s breathe, leaves, a few stalks of carnations and some daisies and chrysanthemums. And then T2 just had to ask if she could have a rose. AIYO!!!!!
Since the roses were looking very tired, I asked the Florist Aunty if T2 could have a rose. She kindly obliged but after seeing the florist wrap my flower bouquet, T2 asked again if her rose could be wrapped too!!!! OMG, this child kills me!!!
But again, the kind florist obliged ever so happily and seemingly delighted that she had managed to draw the happiest smile from T2. I noticed too that she sold Kampung Eggs and much cheaper than those I used to get from Damansara Height. I got her details and will go next Wednesday to collect my week’s supply of Kampung Eggs!!! SCORE!!!
We then set off to visit the Caner Aunty and spent 2 hours with her just chatting whilst the kids watched TV there. I gave her some healing Reiki and prayed for her. Please God, let her live for more than a year. You gave my Mom a good 14 years, I know you can do this for this Cancer Aunty too. And for the other friend of mine who is battling this Cancer Bitch too. OK?
We left before it got dark and rushed home in time for me to whip up a quick, simple dinner. It was surprisingly a really fun day and even my kids said so themselves!! We had so much fun in the car, the three of us, just chatting and laughing and learning more about each other and exchanging ideas. I love my girls. They put so much joy into my life. And thank you, Nana, for always overlooking after us. We know you do because life has just been great. Thank you. It is only with your genuine and pure love for us that this is possible. And for this, I know that it is you who is orchestrating our entire path ways to happiness. Love you so much.

She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
