For years I have wanted a Balenciaga bag but for years, the Hubs keeps telling me that he doesn’t like it. He likes classy bags and he wants me to carry classy bags, and I do!!! But I still want MY BALENCIAGA BAG!!! I LOVE IT!!!! Yet, because the Hubs heart isn’t in it and because it cost RM5,000 then and it felt flimsy and all, I never got it. Even when I went to Europe, I still resisted even when they were going for RM4,800 when in KL they were approaching RM7,000. But suddenly, I couldn’t tahan anymore. He had already gotten me all the classy bags that I needed. I wanted my biker chick Balenciaga bag and I told him.

And after my Mom passed away, he got it for me. I love it so much. And I love him so much. But I got cheated by Balenciaga KLCC. Why? How? Not being a Balenciaga in-the-know kind of girl, I didn’t know my Balenciaga facts and depended on the sales staff there for advice.

BAD MOVE.

I liked the Giant Velo and was deciding on different colours but noticed that they didn’t have the same tassels as the City, for example. SO I asked them, “Where are the tassels for this bag???”

They said, “Oh, don’t worry you can buy it separately but this colour now we are out of stock.”

Phew. I wasn’t going to buy a Balenciaga bag without tassels!!! The tassels are what I am loving about the freaking Balenciaga bag in the first place!!! So I asked them when stock was arriving etc and they said not sure, but usually in 1-2 months. I made the move and bought the bag on the premise that the tassel stock would arrive and I would just get it then.

THEY LIED.

When I called them a month later, there was still no news of tassels in my bag colour. I got fed up and started asking my friends abroad (who went to Italy, Germany, Singapore, Thailand, Japan to search for the fucking tassels) and finally, I even wrote to Balenciaga in France to ask about those fucking tassels. And guess what THEY said!!!???

Dear Madam, The Giant Velo does not come with tassels and as such, we do not make the tassels for them.

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was seriously pissed. I called Balenciaga KLCC and fucked them up nicely and asked them to get me those darn tassels. The girl said OK, she will order right now no problem. I was thinking, even if they didn’t make the tassels for the Velo, the other bags still come in the same colour, right? So technically, I should be able to get extra tassels in my colour!!! I get annoyed at all these ignorant idiots. So the order was made.

APPARENTLY.

Because when I walked into Balenciaga KLCC last week in search of my tassels, nobody knew anything of it and I was told that the girl who served me had left. Wow.

To cut a long story short since thinking about it makes me so angry, they promised to order it for me again. And they cannot promise how long it will take. That’s just great, isn’t it? Something like up to 6 months. Fucking fabulous.

I might as well just get another Balenciaga bag from another country. Been contemplating going back to Europe.
